Hello everybody
I hope you had a good and wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year in advance.
I have announcement that I want to tell you.
Yesterday marked a month since I first wrote my blog post on this blog that I had created. https://mrlimitless95.blogspot.com/2020/11/greetings-welcome-to-my-blog.html
In addition, I created 12 blog posts (4 posts in November and 8 posts in December) this year so far (now that 2020 is ending tomorrow). So in next couple of days and weeks, as well into the New Year 2021, I will add my Google/Blogger account to Google AdSense. That means I will be able to add advertisement on my blog via linking my account to AdSense.
This is about you my readers. When I created a blog last month, I created a blog for a reason because I want everybody including you guys (regardless whether you do read blog post or not & whether the person is blogger, vlogger, content creator or not) to read my blog posts as much as I can.
The more people do read my blog, the more that I can get many views on my blog as whole. Not just all blog posts. That can give me an opportunity to earn money while writing a blog mainly just for a hobby. It can even turn into a job. That is why I want my blog to lead the way and that it can even lead me to having a job in the future.
Writing my blog is my own work at my own terms as I can do whatever I want with my blog Mr Limitless 95 blog.
Here is the Google AdSense link below.
https://www.google.com/adsense/start/
So that is my plan to turn my blog into money making blog. I am not just a blogger. I am content creator. It is quite similar what Youtubers does in order to have incomes and revenues.
You my readers are not just my readers, you are my audience.
So look out for adverts on my blog very soon.
Have a good day everybody.

Breakdancing in the Olympics
Breakdancing: From Street dancing to Olympic sport
This is interesting topic that I want to talk you my dear readers. Breakdancing.
Break dance was invented in New York, USA in early 70s by street dancers with African American and Puerto Rican backgrounds. It became popular in the late 70s & early 80s. It was a big thing in the 80s when it was all over. Around the world: the United States, United Kingdom, European countries, etc. Even Soviet Union.
Breaking was born out of street dance & that it has been featured in Hop Hop scene & music (Hip Hop music) given it is a Hip Hop dance.
Breakdancing is a street dance. Athletic style of street dance that mainly consists of four kind of movement: Toprock, downrock, power moves and freezes.
To start with break dance, it needs drum breaks especially in hip hop, funk, soul and breakbeat. Mainly Hip Hop & other music genres & also, it needs certain ranges of tempo and beat patterns for break dancers (b-boy, b-girl or breaker) to bust a move.
Breakdancing has other names: b-boying/b-girling.
It is not only being featured in music scenes. Particularly on music videos but also on the competitions. Breakdancing competitions where the participants can bust a move to show who is really good of being a breakdancer in the contest.
Recently, the IOC (International Olympic Committee) had announced that Breakdancing have been included for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games as an sport. In other words, it will make a debut at the Olympics. There are some folks who doesn’t think that should be included. Well for me, Breakdancing is an activity, dance and art. It is a form of exercise. So for some media critics to object the inclusion of break dance in the Olympic Games, I bet that they have not breakdance in their lives or seen films, TV competitions, music videos or shows that featured breakdancing or see anyone busting a move (break dance) in the streets.
I for one support the inclusion of Breakdancing in the Olympic Games. Why? Because it will gain a recognition. Bigger recognition in the Olympic scene that can appeal to younger viewers & those who are interested in break dance who could become an professional break dancers.
It is part of music culture so I simply don’t understand why there is some objection to the inclusion of breakdancing in the Olympics. This will be an awesome moment when breakdancing becomes an new Olympic sport in 4 years from now.
Apart from that, it can be difficult to do a break dance but it is worth a try to do so.
So yeah. Break dance: From street dance to the Olympics. πππ΅πΆπΊπ
Brexit Trade Deal
I am relieved that the UK wouldn’t had to be on knife edge anymore for possible chaotic no deal Brexit.
Everyone will have mixed reactions about it but for me even the best deal is EU membership given UK - EU free trade deal won’t be better than when the UK was the EU member state, a deal is better than not having a deal at all.
Nobody wanted disruption, chaos and tariffs. If there were no trade deal agreed between the EU27 and the UK then no deal Brexit without EU trade deal (Hard Brexit) would had severely impacted the British economy. Tariffs would had been applied & there would had been food shortage in the UK supermarkets. Sound like protect fear? Definitely not, it’s project fact & Brexiteers & the govt knows that. They could had extended the transition period. Well they didn’t. If they had then everyone wouldn’t have to panic about possibility of no deal Brexit.
So I hope we can relax easily without anymore worries about no deal Brexit without EU trade deal.
But let me be clear, the trade deal like I said in previous paragraph is no better than the EU membership.
I wrote in my previous blog post that I voted against Brexit in the 2016 in/out referendum.
https://mrlimitless95.blogspot.com/2020/12/brexit-transition-period-deal-or-no-deal.html
Here are the comparison between Brexit trade deal and the EU membership.
The infographic proves that the EU membership is much better than not having EU membership.
While it is good that visa free travel to Europe (mainly EU countries) will continue. Up to 90 days (3 months) & no tariffs being imposed on imports coming from the largest trading partner: the European Union. πͺπΊ π¬π§
The rest aren’t impressive. Worse of all, the UK will not participate in Erasmus. Can you imagine? The UK not taking part in the scheme that brings opportunities for British students to study in universities in EU nations.
Furthermore, non EU countries participate in Erasmus scheme: Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Turkey, North Macedonia, Albania, Serbia, etc.
It is really a shame that the government decided to take the UK out of it despite in the past, they want the UK to continue taking part in Erasmus. It’s a huge blow to young people in the UK who do want to have an opportunity to go to university to study in the EU (& non EU).
The details of the trade deal will be available so that we can read it for ourselves. MPs will have a chance to vote on 30th December next week and after that then in the New Year, the European Parliament will also have a chance to vote for the deal.
So there are mixed feelings about the deal (FTA. The free trade agreement between the EU and the UK in my opinion will do a little to improve lives in the UK. Many businesses have moved out from the UK to Europe. Now there won’t be financial passporting anymore for the City of London. Now Eurosceptics like Nigel Farage wants the UK to become that kind of country that is tax haven & turn Britain into “Singapore on Thames” which I doubt that can happen. We all want what is best for the UK (In or out of the EU. Especially that is already been settled) But if it is to turn the UK backwards & not going forward especially with the nostalgia about Britain’s past (Empire & all that), then that would mean that we wouldn’t be able to get over it. So Brexit or not, Leavers cannot be obsessed with things like Churchill, empire. Anything pre-EU before the UK joined the EU in 1973 which was then called the EEC (European Economic Community).
So this is something that we will have to live with for years and decades to come before there is anything about the possibility of the UK rejoining the EU in the distant future. Yes, Brexit matter is over but the legacy & the effects of it will be felt for us the British to embrace change good and bad. For most part, Brexit will be something that won’t benefit the ordinary people except those who are wealthy.
We all hear before that the UK left the EU (supranational political & economic organisation & the Union) but not Europe (the continent). The UK is European & it will always be European. Geographically, culturally and historically. Even the EU & the UK go their own ways (which that Brexit brings separation & divisions). That is why I do not believe in isolation politically and economically. That is all I can say about it.

Brexit transition period: Deal or no deal
Tier 4 and the messed up tiers system
Here we go again.
Everything have happened so fast. Last time I write a blog post about the Tier system, it was couple of days ago before Greater London entered tier 3. Now it is in Tier 4 as of last night midnight.
Read my previous blog post about it.
So yeah, everything have changed so fast.
Screw the Tiers system. More incompetence from the government and the prime minister Boris Johnson, the more that recorded cases of coronavirus infections will continue to go higher and higher. The govt have not really listened to the science at all. Yet they keep saying that they follow scientific advice and do the opposite.
With London and South East England & the rest of England in Tier 4. No wonder this week, London was in tier 2, then tier 3 (briefly) & now Tier 4. I was not impressed with with yesterday’s latest announcement from PM Boris Johnson at the press conference in 10 Downing Street. It’s almost if the prime minister is powerless to handle the situation & fight off Covid. Given the virus have mutated & that is 70% transmission. Now several European countries have banned the flights from and to the UK.
You see, that is why the government here have continued to mishandled the Covid situation in England. That is all I have got to say on this.
My friend who is an blogger who have recently wrote a blog post on his blog about it. The link is in below the next paragraph.
The Tiers system have not worked effectively and I think it’s time that the govt stop being so futile and come with methods to defeat and eliminate the Covid 19 virus. No one really know how will London and SE England last being under Tier 4. Some say it might last until Easter (4 months from now). No one really knows for sure.

Afrobeats goes global
As Nigerian descendant, I am impressed that Afrobeat (originated from Nigeria & Ghana) had gained popularity internationally in the last few years. Afrobeats is making the waves as it is now part of mainstream music genre: pop, rock, dance, reggae, R&B, etc.
It could had been popular internationally when Fela Kuti was alive (given the fact that he was an pioneer). Now Afrobeats is making the waves. Given it was classified as “World Music”. Now part of the mainstream music genre as everyone knows that Afrobeat originate from West Africa (Mainly Nigeria and Ghana). π΅π³π¬π¬ππΊ
Now that is recognition. The reason why Afrobeat gained popularity internationally is because of African pop culture (which includes Nollywood), internet, YouTube, music platforms and Netflix.
In the recent years, we had K pop (Korean Pop music) with one hit wonder (singer PSY) from South Korea with a catchy tune and dance “Gangnam Style” 8 years ago when it did went viral on social media particularly on YouTube. If it wasn’t for the song Gangnam Style then we wouldn’t had some music artists from South Korea like Blackpink and BTS.
That’s how there are music markets around the world that can get unknown music genre like K pop from Korea and Afrobeat from West Africa.
Furthermore, take for example: Latin music (particularly Latin pop). Now we have heard some of music names who sings Latin pop music: Ricky Martin, Selena, Luis Miguel, Jennifer Lopez, Marc Anthony, Shakira, Enrique Iglesias, Julio Iglesias, SΓ©rgio Mendes, etc. The list goes on. All sing Latin.
Reggae. Bob Marley and other reggae musicians were pioneers of reggae as it was making the waves in 1970s.
And take for example: British pop music (including rock). The popularity of British music artists including the Beatles, The Who, the Rolling Stones in the US (British invasion) across the Atlantic in the mid 1960s.
So since we live in the world that is more intercontinental and multicultural with diversity, music is the universal language that we have something in common. That’s how there are music genres everywhere and that Afrobeats is the latest trends that have been popular for few years as we have mostly listened to songs which are predominantly from the West (Europe, the UK, the US, Canada, New Zealand and Australia).
To know more about Afrobeat (or Afrobeats), you can listen to any songs that is Afrobeat on YouTube and music platforms and streaming sites like Spotify and Apple Music (ITunes). You can listen to artists like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Davido and yes the legendary Fela Kuti.

2020: terrible and difficult year indeed
We are now in December. The final month of this terrible and difficult year. 2020.
Has everybody still have 2020 vision? For me, probably not. Not in the slightest.
At the start of this year, we had an vision for 2020 alongside our own personal goals and plans.
For me I had got everything planned for 2020, having more achievements in my life. Such as having a job and going on holiday to one or two places (I had two countries on my mind that I wanted to visit: Belgium and Lebanon which I made up not to go ahead with it because of Covid).
Then out of nowhere, coronavirus cases in first 3 months reported many parts of the world. China, Iran, South Korea, Italy, etc. It had happened like a wildfire. Every nation going into lockdown, the economy being severely impacted (huge job losses) and gone into an recession.
The pandemic didn’t just affected our normal lives, it became a thing that we got to get used to and we have for last couple of months from late January this year to now (present day). Wearing a face mask every time when out and about. Following social distancing rules in order to stay safe and protecting ourselves from the virus.
As I speak, the Covid 19 vaccine (8th December 2020) have started yesterday for elderly and vulnerable people & NHS frontline workers in the UK. Historic day which is a first step towards getting our lives back to the things that we used to have. Normal. It has affected all areas of our lives.
Given the pandemic is the primary problem for us humans whether we live in the world, that is why we all experience very difficult times throughout this year 2020, as for secondary problems, we all experienced different sort of problems: financial, personal, social, political, health, economic, etc. Even with anxieties and health worries including PTSD. One thing I am know for sure is that I do not live in fear and that I don’t have to worry about it. Other than making sure that I am safe and protecting myself from Covid.
I have managed myself okay during the Covid crisis alongside with my family. I wear a mask daily & following a social distancing rules in order to protect myself. I also keep my mind sane just to not focusing on the current affairs (news) regarding Covid and being fearless by not having to be afraid.
One thing I know for sure is that we won’t be wearing face mask and social distancing forever. All I can say is hang on, we will be at the end of the tunnel now that we govt the Covid vaccine. As we are already adjusted to the “New Normal” with social distancing and face masks in place.
2020 will be the year that we will remember the times when the Covid pandemic disrupted our lives around the world. Also the events have happened this year. Like Racism (especially with the death of George Floyd in the US), police brutality in countries like the US and Nigeria, the US Presidential Election and Brexit.
So as we are getting ready for Christmas season, 2020 is the worst year ever & that the year will not be the year that I want to remember. I dunno about you but 2020 have not been a great year & because of that, I don’t have 2020 vision for this year as it will end in next couple of weeks.
2020: Worst year ever
