British people worst at learning foreign languages?

Did you know the British (mainly the English) are worst at learning Foreign languages?

I didn’t know this until recently. Even me as a Brit. Learning, understanding & speaking foreign language (any language) is always difficult but it is also worth a choice in order to break down the barrier.

Even if any person understand the basics of any Foreign language. That’s why it’s worth interesting if anyone can learn Foregin language to avoid having language barriers (the language barrier when person is not familiar with the language). 🇬🇧🇫🇷🇵🇹🇪🇸🇩🇪🇷🇺🇨🇳🇯🇵🇳🇱🇸🇪

“62% of people surveyed can’t speak any other language apart from English.”

“38% of Britons speak at least one foreign language, 18% speak two and only 6% of the population speak three or more.”

Mostly learning to speak language is done in school curriculum (including secondary/high schools). When school pupils (students) learn to speak foreign language in the UK are mostly French, Spanish, German and Chinese Mandarin. Sometime other languages. So that probably explains why Brits prefer not to learn & speak languages.

For me on my personal experience, I had learned 2 languages (two European languages) when I was in high/secondary school. French and Spanish 🇫🇷🇪🇸. 🇪🇺Even it’s not easy to speak & understand the language, it’s worth having a knowledge to communicate in any foreign language. I am managing my best to learn Portuguese now. 🇵🇹😀🙂 I am always willing to give a go & try to master the language by memorising the key words in any language (French, Spanish or any other language).

Something rotten about Wish

There is something oddly and inappropriately rotten about Wish. They advertise so many rubbish stuff that you won’t believe it. Even eBay and Amazon do sell rubbish stuff but they don’t advertise it the way Wish does.

I even recall buying once on Wish when I purchased face masks before the Covid lockdown in the UK in Spring this year & the delivery was from China as it took so long (given I first seen Wish advertisement on YouTube). Nowadays I don’t see awful advertisements from Wish. 

As I banned it. Not having any interest of it. My advice will be that if you seen advertisement on Wish on Instagram and Facebook & that they sell such awful stuff then don’t hesitate to block so that you won’t see it again. For me I don’t have any interest of buying item on Wish. 

No wonder algorithm on social media is so problematic & that our data is harvested to third parties like Wish.

Elvis Presley: Never tour outside the US (except Canada)

“I'm all shook up”. 

Interesting fact about Elvis Presley. Elvis Presley only performed live in two countries: the US and Canada. In North America. Canada is the only country outside the US that Elvis played in gigs & concerts.

The King of Rock and Roll had never performed his music live in other countries (which includes the UK, Europe, Australia and Japan. Even Elvis wanted to perform there but never had the chance) despite his songs were famous outside America. 

The reason why Elvis never performed outside America except played live in Canada was the fact that Elvis’s music manager Colonial Tom Parker was illegal migrant originally from the Netherlands & never held the US passport. So that’s how Elvis only performed in US & Canada.

Probably reason why Colonel Tom Parker never held the American passport & the fear of him being arrested outside US (apprehension) due to his uncertain legal status was about murder incident in Breda, Netherlands which he may had connections. No one really knows for sure. That can explain why Elvis Presley joined the US army to be stationed in Germany (West Germany) for 2 years from 1958 to 1960.

It is true Elvis had never knew about the circumstances of his music manger’s situation  & that he (Colonel Tom Parker) never had the American passport other than being an illegal from the Netherlands. Tom Parker was dodgy. 

If Elvis Presley did had the opportunity to go on tour to perform live in countries outside the US, there would had been archival footages of him performing in many places including The UK, Europe, Japan, Australia, etc.

Welcome to my blog. 

Allow me to introduce myself.

My name is Mr Limitless 95 & this is my blog Mr Limitless 95. My other name is Calvin Casino. These two are just my nicknames.

This blog will be called "Mr Limitless 95". Meaning I'll be Mr Limitless with number 95 (the year that I was born: 1995). In other words, I created another nickname for myself just I did with my other nickname (Calvin Casino. Usually for purpose of making music). 

The blog will mainly be anything that I want to say (although not everything will be politics or current affairs/news. I get to write about music, travel, anything). Anything on my mind. Generally, it will be more about enjoying life, having a passion & having no limits. 

Mr Limitless 95 blog will be about enjoying life in general, going for adventure, doing things with passion and hobby. 

So that will be about living life without limits. "No Limits”

This is the new beginning for me. My first ever blog post.
