I will continue wearing face mask

Now that we know the announcement from Prime Minister on Monday about ditching social distancing and mask wearing. I for one will continue to wear a face mask. Knowing that the Covid crisis is far from over.

I previously talked about the UK government  ending social distancing and mask wearing on my blog post and that mask wearing will instead be personal choice.

So there we have it. Boris Johnson is taking a gamble as measures (social distancing & mask wearing) will be ditched by 19th July as confirmed (although final decision is not yet reached). Now it is very foolish to lift lockdown especially when infection rate is going up.

Yet Boris Johnson talks about “living with Covid”. Well tell that to those who have long Covid & any person who have suffered mental health problems (especially teens & children). It doesn’t make sense at all. Lifting lockdown measures when the infection rate is up.

For me, I will continue to wear a mask  no matter what. Knowing the pandemic won’t be over on 19th July. The so called “freedom day”. Knowingly the pandemic is not over so I am not convinced by the govt’s reckless plan to end the mask mandate.

Why lift lockdown measures while the infection rate is high? It doesn’t make any sense. Logically, it doesn’t not make sense. news.sky.com

Scientists & health experts are very alarmed with ending physical distancing & face mask wearing.  Yesterday, I read the Guardian article which it has a shocking projection. theguardian.com

No wonder Covid 19 cases could be UK 2m recorded cases in the summertime. That could mean possibility of lockdown in autumn (September/October/November). All because of the reckless incompetence of PM Boris Johnson & the govt.

On final note, coronavirus is not influenza (& that we the people shouldn’t think Covid like a flu because it is not). google.co.uk It is more lethal than flu.

We’ll see how it goes with “living with Covid” while the infection rate is going higher due to the Delta Variant & other variant in the UK. Taking a risky & selfish gamble by letting Covid to be rampant via ditching face mask wearing & social distancing. Just wait until it becomes too much. It will be a matter of time before Boris Johnson is in very difficult position again & the UK could be in lockdown again eventually in the autumn. By then, booster vaccines for Coronavirus would have been ready to be used in vaccination centres. reuters.com

The vaccine rollout so far is successful. Although I have concerns that if any Covid variant entered the UK from anywhere & that the vaccine is not effective to combat it, then it seems that booster vaccines may be the answer to all & possibly of anyone around the world to annually take a jab like a flu jab. & even there are ideas about mixing one vaccine to another to fight Covid. bbc.co.uk

So that is I want to say. I will definitely continue to wear a face mask until I am 100% convinced that is no longer present in the UK & everywhere in the world when the pandemic is eventually declared over.

The Covid pandemic will not be over with moronic anti vaxx & Covid deniers who won’t want to wear face mask, refusing to acknowledge the reality that the Covid crisis is not over & that they reckon that they can do whatever they like (not wearing a mask) which potentially, they can be spreaders of Covid by not thinking sensible. At least I know I will wear a face mask continually on 19th July 2021 and beyond. ðŸ˜·
