Hi everybody

This blog post is going to be advisory and helpful blog post for EU citizens who are living in the UK.

I hope after this blog post, I hope and pray that EU citizens will not have to be in any situations with the Home Office regarding his/her status in the UK. So here is my message to them. 🇬🇧🇪🇺

Dear EU citizens 

You have all contributed to the United Kingdom. You came to the country with plenty of reasons. Anything from studying to working, making friends, having a life in the UK with many opportunities & making it a home. After all, this country is your home like your home country. 

You are more than just an EU citizen living in the UK. You are my family, friend, neighbour, colleague, mentor, teacher, etc. I am happy that I met many of European nationals in the UK. All walks of life. 🙂🇪🇺

It is that the 2016 Brexit vote was very unnecessary & so unfortunate for UK citizens and EU citizens alike. UK citizens living in the EU and EU citizens living here in the UK. Nobody saw it coming. Even the government under David Cameron didn’t even had a plan if the UK had voted to leave the European Union given the lies from many Brexiteers including Boris Johnson and Nigel Farage told so much of many porky pies about the UK’s EU membership. 

The UK Brexit Tory governments under Theresa May & Boris Johnson cared about self interests except foreigners which does include many of you guys (if you happened to be EU national living in Britain). It’s almost if that European Union citizens living in the UK does not matter. Being used as an political pawns (bragging chips) in the Brexit negotiations. Because of Brexit, that is when uncertainty started to impact on many EU citizens. Some of them left the country due to Brexit. Immigration was always an divisive topic. Said by small minded, racist and xenophobic bigots in order to divide opinions. Knowing the EU freedom of movement have been beneficial to the UK and the economy. 

All I can say as someone who voted against Brexit is that I am sorry. I am sorry that many of you my readers (if you are EU nationals. Living in the UK) have to put up with so much of uncertainty caused by Brexit & the toxic environment of despicable altitude by small minded bigots & neglect from the government who did not guaranteed & protected your rights to remain in the UK since the results of the 2016 EU In/Out referendum. The govt should had guaranteed the rights of EU citizens in the UK in the first place. Instead, Europeans were being used as pawns in the Brexit negotiations. 

We the British people are Europeans too. Regardless of how we voted in the referendum 5 years ago on 23rd June 2016. It is that we are no longer EU citizens as of last year. 

So if any of you want to continue living in Great Britain, then my advice is that you go to the website to apply for the EU settlement scheme. gov.uk 

It is all for EU nationals (except Irish citizens) & non EU nationals like Norwegians, Icelandic, Liechtensteiners and Swiss. 

You must already be living in the UK before the end of the Brexit transition period (31st December 2020). Given the deadline to apply for the settlement scheme is 30th June 2021. Not much time left. 

Finally on that note, I do not want this to ever happen to European nationals in the United Kingdom by being subjected to deportation. Last thing that everybody needs is another political scandal like the 2018 Windrush scandal when it had affected Caribbean nationals who were coming from former British colonies in the Caribbean to settle in the UK after years of Second World War & that the country was broke financially and economically. 

So please guys, apply for the EU settlement scheme before it is too late. 

Also the government should had thought of extending the deadline of the EU settlement scheme. Instead, they won’t do so which is not fair. 

Thank you for reading my blog post. I really wish that the UK shouldn’t had voted for leaving the EU in the first place. Knowing the cause of anxiety & worries. Anyway, what’s done is done. I received my first Covid vaccine jab

This blog post is important and advisory one & I want all of my readers to really understand it. Anybody (anti vaxx or not) including you. I am not really an expert on anything health or medical. After all, it is really a matter of life and death and we all experienced challenges in this very difficult times in the pandemic. Thanks for understanding. 

Last weekend, I had a first dose of Covid 19 vaccine jab (last week Sunday). The vaccine I took a dose was Pfizer. Pfizer - Biotech. 

Many people that I know personally (mainly friends) have either received a first dose or second dose (fully vaccinated after second dose) of the vaccine whether is Pfizer or AstraZeneca (Oxford AstraZeneca). In my family, it is only three (my disabled brother & my parents) who received two doses of AstraZeneca vaccine equally and the carer of my disabled brother who also received both doses of the vaccine (AstraZeneca). 

Anyways since this is really going to be a brief blog post, I want to encourage you to just come forward. Go to your nearby Covid vaccination centre. 

Don’t be afraid. Just take the jab and ignore any disinformation about Covid and the vaccine. Also don’t be afraid of needle. For me, I don’t like needles. At the same time, I was not afraid so it is okay to not like having a needle injected on your arms. The main important is getting first and second doses of the Covid 19 vaccine regardless of who is afraid or not afraid to take a needle injection. 

This is why I have published my two blog posts, encouraging everyone to pay less attention on conspiracy theories, lies or misinformation about vaccine & Covid. I know that I have no time for anti vaxx. mrlimitless95.blogspot.com mrlimitless95.blogspot.com 

So yeah, wherever you live in the world, come forward and just take a Covid vaccine jab so that the Covid pandemic can gradually come to the very end.

First blog message on Pride Month

Hi Everyone 

I would like to take a moment to wish the LGBT community around the world a happy pride month. 

As June is almost coming to close, Pride is the month where LGBT come together to celebrate of how proud they are based on sexuality. 

It is the promotion of self affirmation, dignity, equality and acceptance of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender.

Throughout the history, LGBT communities have been targeted awfully by social stigma, discrimination like transphobia, homophobia and all sorts of anti LGBT. Particularly in the western  countries who used to not accept homosexuality or any other group of LGBT in the past. Today, many countries in the West (Britain, Europe, Canada, United States) accepted equal rights for LGBT except many places in Africa, Middle East and Asia where being part of LGBT group is outlawed.

Recently, there was shockwaves across the European Union countries that Hungary passed an anti LGBT law (very alarming & controversial) and UEFA banned an stadium in Munich, Germany just because the German football players was playing a football with Hungarian football players. 

As an heterosexual (straight) person, I hope someday that some countries who currently prohibits LGBTQ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender & queer) will eventually accept LGBT of what they are because they are human beings & that they do not deserve to be penalised based of what they are. You wouldn’t penalise anyone because of his/her skin colour/race/ethnicity, age, gender, height, age, language or disability so why discriminate anyone based on sexual orientation? It just doesn’t make anything sense at all. 

Overall, we live in the world that we can respect everyone and love each other without prejudice, arrogance or hatred. 

That is all I can say about it.

Conservatorship is holding Britney Spears back

Regardless whether you listen to Britney Spears songs or not, there is something that is standing her way. Conservatorship and why is it holding her back.

What is conservatorship? Here is an definition of the word. 

Conservatorship is the appointment of a guardian or a protector by a judge to manage the financial affairs and/or daily life of another person due to old age or physical or mental limitations. A person under conservatorship is a “conservatee”, a term that refer to an adult. So in other words, it is like guardianship. 

Well unfortunately that is not the case with Britney Spears’s conservatorship as it is indeed split into two parts: Her financial affairs and estate and her conservator is the father of the pop star (Britney Spears). Jamie Spears. 

The reason why conservatorship is holding Britney Spears back is because she is not free. She does not have freedom and that it’s like that she cannot make decisions for herself. What Britney told the court in Los Angles, California, USA confirmed it. 

This is her exact words. 

"My father loved the control to hurt his own daughter 100,000%. He loved it."

"Ma’am, I’m not here to be anyone’s slave.”

"Ma’am, my dad and anyone involved in this conservatorship and my management who played a key role in punishing me — ma’am, they should be in jail."

"I’m depressed. I want changes and I want changes going forward. I deserve changes.”

“I’ve been in denial. I’ve been in shock. I am traumatized,”

“I just want my life back.”

It is clear to me that Britney Spears’s will is being violated. Violated against her will. Being forced to do things that she doesn’t want to & not allowing her to do what she wants to do. Like having more children since she is the mother of two. 

Earlier this year, I watched the documentary “Framing Britney Spears” produced by the New York Times. That really proves that Britney Spears really needs to be free of control (Conservatorship) from her father Jamie.

Look, she (Britney Spears) is a human being like all of us. Yes, we all know what really happened to her when she did had a breakdown in 2007 & being chased & followed by paparazzi. Her being taken to mental health hospital in 2008. All of that, resulted her to be in the awkward & frustrating situation that she is in today (conservatorship) by Jamie Spears. Some say that it has “saved” her & her music career as an recording artist. Well I say, that might be the case but to not have a freedom & not being able to do what you want to do in life and career, that is not really fair on the “Hit Me Baby One Time” singer. 

Guys, Britney Spears is under control. For the last 13 years, she have been under control & still is under control and that is conservatorship? It’s such a shame that practice only exists in the United States because that can be abused and manipulated systemically. Thank god that we don’t have that in The UK or mainland Europe or anywhere in the world. 

On final note, regarding fame, it is not easy when celebrities, public figures & famous people do struggle in their own lives given their lives are way different than us ordinary people. But they are human beings too and that we do make mistakes and own it. This Conservatorship stuff, I really do not understand this at all. For someone who is non American (myself), I would never want that sort of that to ever exist in the UK or anywhere in the world because it is not a proper guardianship. With the case of Britney Spears’s case, it’s not a truly a proper guardianship. Even if she (Britney) do happen to have a mental health issues, does it justify for taking her human rights and freedom away? Noo!!! Absolutely not. Spears is right to say that she feels like a slave & it is very sad.

I really hope and pray that Britney’s conservatorship should be ended sooner or lately. Given for years, Britney Spears have been quietly wanting to end Conservatorship for years & that she have not spoken publicly until yesterday. 

It is really violation of her rights. Human rights. So because of that, Britney Spears has got my support & that I am on “Free Britney” side. Free Britney. Free Britney Spears. 🎶🎵

Barbershop, money & life changes

What do I begin with the interesting topic? Barbershop, money and life changes. 💈💷💵💶💇‍♂️💇💇‍♀️

Couple of weeks ago on my birthday (30th May), I went to the barbers for my haircut.

It was my second time that I had a haircut during the pandemic. Last time when I went to have a hair cut done was in August last year. Prior to Covid & lockdown last year. Price was £10 (before last year’s lockdown). Once the first lockdown was lifted, haircut prices rose to £13. So expensive especially with the effects that happened hair salon/barber businesses in the UK and indeed the rest of the world. I really do feel bad for hair salon & barber businesses who have been impacted badly due to the lockdown measures and the Covid pandemic.

For me I already got used to having a haircut done at my home as my disabled brother’s carer shaved my hair. Also in the past, my dad would cut my hair as well. Given nowadays it is best to save money. I even shaved my hair round 3 or 4 times before with hair clipper. Rather than going to barbers regularly like in one month or two months. I say this as someone with African descent, knowing that my hair is curly & that I do not have long hair like other hairs that are non African. 

When I go to barbers, I would mostly go to barbers that are mainly black (Black British. In between African and Caribbean). Sometimes in the past, I would often go to the other barbers that are Caucasian (white) or Middle Eastern (for instance Turkish). Knowingly barbershop has no colour regardless of ethnicity/skin colour, gender or nationality. The point is that because of the pandemic & that I already got my own hair clipper (which I have it for long time. Long before the pandemic), prices at the barbers nowadays are so expensive. At least earlier this year in January, my mother called my barber to come to my home to shave the hairs of my two younger brothers 

I am not saying don’t go to the barbers. Go to the barbers if you want to. I am saying in regards to money that you can do for any alternative options than always going to the barbershop to spend money for getting haircut done. Haircuts are always cool & nicely done. 

Including the fact that everyone in the whole world including ourselves spent plenty of months, styling hair & shaving hair as part of DIY (do it yourself) way at home. After all, no one wants a bad hair. Especially when it is either messy or that it has not been brushed or combed. google.co.uk google.co.uk bbc.co.uk 

Lastly when I first went to the barbers in August last year, with barbershops being included as Covid 19 hotspots (& that I know that hair salons have been reopened since last few months). Plus once my barber (which I have known him for years since I was small kid) finished my hair, there was an inspector works for local council (local authority as I live in Barnet, Greater London) who inspected every barbershop & nail salons to follow the rules regarding social distancing & Covid 19 restrictions including the information of close contract (contract tracing which there are some people might not be comfortable of leaving their personal information since the appointments are now mostly call in & online & not walk in due to Covid). 

Because of since the lockdown, I enjoyed having a hair cut in my home five times (three times in last year & two times this year. Plus a haircut at my dad’s place December last year = overall, 6 times), it saves money. I feel going to barbers like once in a month or twice in a month is a waste of money. 

Before, the price of barbers was £10. Now it’s £13 (increased due to the Covid pandemic & inflation given recently the UK had entered in recession for first time since 2009. Now the economy is already getting back on its feet for recovery).

in conclusion: I would always go to the barbers. On occasions only. I am done with going there in two months or one month like I always had in the past. Especially that I am used to having haircut done at my home. Even the carer of my disabled brother doesn’t go to the barbers anymore because of the impact of the pandemic.  

When things happens out of the blue (the coronavirus pandemic), it is where that we ordinary people change our ways (lifestyles) either temporarily or permanently. Life changes. 

Me not going to the hair salons all time is now already permanent as I made a change to my lifestyle. So that is my blog post about barbershop, money and lifestyle changes.

My first Juneteenth blog message to USA

This is going to be a short blog post. 

I want to say to the American people & the United States of America. 

Happy Juneteenth America from the UK. Finally American people from all races can celebrate this new National holiday about blacks (African Americans) being free from slavery. Especially during the US civil war. 

 I last wrote a blog post about combating racism in all forms. mrlimitless95.blogspot.com Having Juneteenth as the newest American Federal Holiday since Martin Luther King Jr Day which was introduced in the 1980s is one of the ways to teach about history & to combat racism. Slavery is part of US history. Very unpleasant history. But to not teach & educate everybody about how awful things happened, it means history could be repeated. 

This new holiday in US shows that people can come together to fight oppression and racism in all forms since it is part of history. So I am happy to see that Juneteenth is now a federal/public holiday in the United States. 😀🙂🇺🇸👏🏾👍🏾

Take a Covid 19 jab & ignore disinformation

I want to talk to you guys about Covid 19 vaccine.

The Covid pandemic is still with us. However there is a light. Light out of the tunnel. So my birthday message is just take a vaccine. Never mind the nonsense conspiracy theories or any form of disinformation that could stop you from taking a dose of vaccine. Be grateful that you are alive and well. Lockdown measures are lifting despite the surge of new variant which we all have to stay safe, continuing wearing face masks & social distancing. That's where the chains of coronavirus infections can be broken. 

Early this year in February, I recall talking about ethnic minorities being hesitant to take Covid vaccine in my previous blog post mrlimitless95.blogspot.com I mentioned that it shouldn’t stop anyone to take a dose of Covid 19 vaccine regardless of skin colour. 

So if you have took a dose (first dose) or both doses of the vaccine, well done. If you are not yet vaccinated, then book yourself an appointment to have both doses of the vaccine. I will get both doses of the vaccine as I already received a text and letter, saying that I would need to book an appointment. 

After all, we all want the same thing. The end of the Covid pandemic, mask wearing and social distancing (even if coronavirus - Covid 19 will be with us for the rest of our lives like other diseases). 

So my advice is just find time to receive first and second doses of the vaccine and pay less attention to any disinformation relating to Covid and Covid vaccine. 

UK - Australia trade deal is signed

So today’s news in the UK is that the free trade deal with Australia have been announced by Boris Johnson (Prime Minister of the United Kingdom). gov.uk 🇬🇧🇦🇺

Nearly a month ago I talked about concerns regarding the trade deal (now been signed) between Australia and the UK. mrlimitless95.blogspot.com 

Here is my take on UK - Australia FTA. 

So PM Boris Johnson meets Scott Morrison (Australian Prime Minister) at Number 10 (10 Downing Street) for the announcement of the free trade agreement between Britain and Australia. The deal itself is a raw deal. A raw deal. Bad deal for British farmers. I am not impressed with the Aussie trade deal at all. 

I said before that I am not against free trade in any way. What the government have done is not being straight with the public. Particularly farmers who voted for Brexit and Conservative. Brexit really does complicates things. 

I know where this is going. UK farmers being undercut. Australia having access to UK farms. Australian beef (beef hormones) to be imported to here. We might as well have shipping containers coming from the Land Down Under (OZ) to Brexitland (UK) for days in the oceans. Let’s all remember that geography matters. The UK trades with the European Union (even Tories, Brexiteers and the govt does not like the fact) while Australia trades with New Zealand and China. 

And yet, the UK wants to be in the CPTPP (trade bloc of 11 countries in Asia Pacific) despite we are not in the Pacific region. Global Britain? Oh please. 🙄 Britain never stopped when it was an EU member. 

Although there are some good things in the post Brexit - Australia trade deal like studying and working in Australia for those are under 35s (extended from 30 to 35 given there is already a working holiday visas for Brits to go to Australia). Selling British cars, Scotch Whisky and confectionery. All to be sold cheaply in OZ. 

But still, the deal will not be beneficial to anybody who genuinely have concerns about it. 

UK farmers are being sold out due to the post Brexit UK - Australia trade deal. 🤦

I wonder what will come next? USA trade deal with enormous concerns about chlorinated chicken and beef hormones? The government would rather just sign trade deals without really checking of what is really in the deal properly. Just look up at the government’s recent unbelievable blunder regarding the Northern Ireland protocol. Behaving as if they were tricked into signing a trade deal with the EU27 and war of words about sausage imports, and all that stuff. google.co.uk Just to not being sincere & to frustrate the EU. By the way, the UK just held the G7 summit in Cornwall recently. It seems it was overshadowed by Brexit. google.co.uk 

If the govt didn’t liked what has been agreed about the Customs Sea Border in the Irish Sea between Northern Ireland and Great Britain (the one that Boris Johnson famously said there won’t be border in the Irish Sea & was the one indeed created one) then they shouldn’t signed in the first place. All I hear is porky pies & waffles from the government who is really desperate for trade deals around the world so that they can be better off than being an EU member state. 

The UK govt doesn’t seem to realise that countries like the United States can play hardball in trade negotiations. Just look of today’s news about the UK - Australia trade deal. Why? Because Australia played a hardball & see how it came with this conclusive and unbelievable result of the provision being part of the deal. Australia having access to the UK farms access tariff free. Despite they (the govt) say it ”won’t harm UK farmers’s likelihoods). Well I beg to differ. It will harm them and that will be another example of why Brexit shouldn’t really happened in the first place. Especially with lies & the unnecessary referendum which was held almost 5 years ago. 

How sad is that? It is really unfair. And Boris Johnson brags about Australian chocolates (Tim Tam & Arnott’s). youtu.be “You better run and take cover”.  Because the govt (British govt) have not done homework properly of how to strike trade deal with country in question & wanting it to be “glamorous & perfect” without anything bad which might be advantage for the UK & countries like Australia & America. This is why the government lives in the fantasy world & not in the reality. 

So that is my take on the news about the UK - Australia trade deal. I guess I’ll listen to Men At Work song, having a dream to visit OZ (when Covid crisis is over) & to watch two Australian soap operas (Neighbours and Home Away). Instead of the contradictions & lies from the govt (Conservative Brexit govt) who is not honest & not sincerely reliable.

Covid: The way of work has been changed

At the start of this year in January, I recall writing a blog post. Remake the world post Covid 

The pandemic have been going on for a year now. Affected all the sectors of the global economy and every country’s economy including the UK’s economy. Resulting everybody to stay at home due to Covid measures. 

So that is the topic that I want to talk about today. The way of work has been changed. All thanks to the coronavirus pandemic. Why is that? Remote working (working from home). 

I recall reading the article in August 2020 last summer that they (the UK govt including Rishi Sunak & Boris Johnson) wanted everyone to go back to work (including office based workplaces). Even businesses wanted their employees to come back as they were & probably still are on furlough. Well it’s not easy, living with Covid. However the government (I am referring to the British govt & that should applies to other govts in the world) should understand that there are some people who wants to work at home (remote working) just to avoid public transport and journey to work by car (if someone happens who lives far). 

Plus during the pandemic, companies were & still are round of job cuts as there is short of job vacancy in the UK. It is really much harder to find a job during the pandemic than pre pandemic. bbc.com Warming that London could become a ghost town if staff are not back in work. Given we know very well that London (particularly City of London) is the financial hub & business hub. 

Then couple of weeks ago, empty offices in City of London will be converted into residential homes post Covid pandemic. google.co.uk 

It is clear to me that remote working is now part of our lives. Although remote work is nothing new & that it has existed before the Covid pandemic. 

It is time that we the people around the world embrace it. Especially now as we speak, firms are already doing a hybrid work. Between working in the workplace and working from home which i know it will continue post pandemic. It seems working from 9 to 5 in the workplace (including in work offices in big cities like London) may be the thing of the past & that remote working does offer flexibility. We are seeing the benefits of it. Even me as I am benefiting from remote working despite looking for work and that I just recently earned my first Google Adsense money from advertisement.  

It can be a good thing. Remote working.

After all, the world of work has been changed forever. 

Throughout history, changes can be either good or bad. Example: there used to be typewriters. Now there are computers. Pen pal writing letters. 

Now we live in the social media age. Even the iconic IPod (Apple MP3 player). Now there are music steaming sites like Spotify and Apple Music. 

With remote working (telecommuting) which is common for those who are teleworkers: Stay at home parent, homeworker, entrepreneur, digital nomand, content creator, traveller, social media personality/YouTuber/vlogger, writer and blogger. Now it is becoming common for businesses who have offices = office based businesses.

Since I last wrote and published a blog post about the government’s awful intentions to sell GP medical information (which is private and confidential), the government have recently delayed the deadline to two months. Instead of 1st July 2021, it will be 1st September 2021. Giving everyone in England a plenty of time to fill in opt out of allowing GP medical information to be sold to third parties and private firms. t.co 

Well I welcome it. The extension of the opt out deadline. However I am not happy with the government (particularly Matt Hancock the Health Secretary & Prime Minister Boris Johnson) for not consulting with the public regarding about it. Other than secretly wanting to sell off medical information that is confidentially private between yourself (patient) and local GP.

At least I will have plenty of time to fill in my opt out because I know for sure that I do not approve it. 

Lastly, I come across this petition which I recommend everybody including those who live in England to sign the petition.

They care about themselves and self interests & making policies as if that would suit well with the British public (which that doesn’t suit well with me in terms of passing my medical information = my NHS Data to third parties & private companies).

This is going to be only time that I talk about my Google Adsense earning in relations to money and finance. Because for me, it is confidential. At least it is going to be one off given I am careful person & that I wouldn’t want to share anything that is personal or confidential unless I feel I should do so. My first ever Google Adsense earning. 😀🙂 as I earned money. £5.32. Not bad as it is a start. Good start as I used advertisement in my blog. 😀🙂

I hope for this new month (June) & afterwards, I’ll earn more than £5.32.

My goal is still looking for employment so that I feel I have two jobs. One paid job and another is the one that I am currently doing while getting paid from Google. Google Adsense. One person told me that I should consider of being self employed. Well I will say is that I am not paying myself a money and my blog is not even a company website. I created a blog of my own. Solely to have a passion so I don’t have anything desire to turn my blog into registered company website because I do not wish to be employer in the sense that I should have buildings and all of that. & how would I fit in as self employed given I am a writer & blogger? Unless if I were to have a book publishing business then yes, i would need to be self employed & being my own boss. So i do not really have to go for self employed as I am not a sole trader. Unless if I do go for the job that is freelancing as an freelancer (because my blog is not a business & like I said, I don’t have a desire for that) then maybe. So I do not have anything interests to be businessman. Other than being a content creator. 

So that is the purpose of me looking for work of any type (even my preference of type of job like office, IT, creative/arts, music, films & even hospitality, retail/charity or anything business wise). Me being an blogger means I can use this as a backup job (& earning extra money. Regardless if it is tax free or not) and that I do work remotely (& being flexible). I can even work anywhere (including my work). That is how being blogger is all about. 

My blog is not even about me as an blogger. it is all about how passionate I am when I write blog posts of any topic. It is all about you my readers. You are my audience. 😀🙂 At the end of day, that is what I do and I have been doing for 6 months since late 2020 & that I will continue to do so. After all, I am content creator. Not just a blogger and writer. ✍️ You know YouTubers & vloggers earn money because they are just ordinary people like us & not businessmen. It is about increasing web traffic, revenue and managing ad units both on Blogger, blogging sites and YouTube. It benefits vloggers and bloggers. Blogger and vlogger can be anything. Traveller, adventurer, commentator (media, sports, politics, entertainment), singer, musician (either being in the band or being solo musician), teacher, translator, documentary, interview, reviewer, gamer, lifestyle, fashion. It can be any topic in general. That is why we live in the digital age. 

Who knows. Maybe one of you my readers may potentially be my employer. 

Au Revior the English language in the EU?

Au Revior the English language in the EU? 

When I first read the article, my mind was like “this can’t be true”. t.co 

English is a European language as much of other European languages like French, Spanish, Dutch, Portuguese and German. English is West Germanic language, originally from England and world language international since it is indeed 3rd spoken language in the world behind Spanish & Chinese Mandarin. 🇪🇸🇨🇳

There are two EU member states that has the English as official language: Ireland & Malta. 🇮🇪🇲🇹 Brexiteers would go mad over this. The English language being diminished in the EU institutions. 

So English will still be the working language of the European Union post Brexit as the UK left the bloc on 31st January 2020, it is that 27 remaining EU member states and institutions would speak more of European languages like French and German as if English is somewhat not being spoken which I doubt it would happen. I even told my grandma (my mum’s mum which unfortunately supports Brexit) who lives in South Africa, didn’t seem to realise that English is the EU’s working language. Saying “how many those EU countries speak English”. Well before Brexit, there were three. The United Kingdom, Ireland and Malta. Since 31st January 2020, it is just Ireland and Malta as there are two. 

So with Macron (French President) wants to replace English with the French language as the EU’s working language, it reminds me of Jean Claude Juncker (then EU commission president) in 2017 said that English is “losing EU clout”. Losing importance. The English language losing importance in the EU27.  

Brexit is really the disadvantage & with the idea of the English language being diminished in the EU institutions, you can cast a blame on the leavers (not the EU27) who has no common sense whatsoever & really are small minded. Let’s hope that better not be the case. 

We all know that many students from EU & non EU nations come to the UK universities to learn & speak English as second or third language given that those who speak English as first language (like myself) are English speaking countries (the UK, USA, Canada, New Zealand and Australia. The Five Eye) including ex British colonies like South Africa, Bahamas, Ghana, Nigeria and Guyana. So the English language should continue in the EU institutions as working language alongside French and German despite the UK not being an member of the European Union. French replacing the English as the EU’s working language just because the UK is not in the EU anymore, it won’t work. After all there are Ireland & Malta who are only two EU member states who has English as the official languages besides their own National languages: Irish and Maltese. 

If that is to be the case with English not being spoken in all EU bodies other than French, German & other languages of the European Union member states, then that is on the Brexiteers. 🇪🇺🇫🇷🇩🇪

So I pray that the EU27 will not say Au Revior (goodbye in French) to the English language. 🇬🇧

My legal challenge against Travel Unravel

I would like to update you guys about my legal challenge against Travel Unravel Private Holidays Limited & my bank Barclays.

In April few months ago, I completed the judgement document against Travel Unravel as my dad told me to (I typed my name & my court claim number). Then my dad (given I know that he has a lot of lawyer expertise as he was a lawyer) advised me to not do anything like sending it to County Court Money Claims Centre. Having a concern that we would be doing on two different things. One with Barclays & one with Travel Unravel. Which I understood him but I said to him that we could had gone ahead to issue judgment so that the judge could had grant it to send bailiffs to repossess anything that belongs to Travel Unravel Private Holidays Limited. Even their business is online (as I know they are very dodgy & fraudulently not legit travel company). 

As I know for sure that they (Travel Unravel never response to it either by email or letter except Barclays as lawyers had done that via email on their behalf & that they are based in Bristol. Sometime soon, I am yet to hear their own defence to it).  I even sent a letter to them by granting a extension for another two weeks or so & that I already received a letter from court that confirms that my bank is having a little more to response.

Then few weeks later, I received a letter from lawyers TLP on Barclays’s behalf. My instant reaction. I will not discontinue my claim. They might be correct that fraudulent transaction which was done was debit card. However it doesn’t excuse the fact that Barclays put me in overdraft debt (taking the same amount £522.23 when Barclays did refunded me) when my bank balance was almost £200 & that I was in debt for short time until my mum added money (£354.19), bringing my balance back to the normality. So the response from Barclays is incredibly weak & failure for them to acknowledge my claim (given I know that I expected to be their own defence). Travel Unravel continues to not giving any response cos they are not legitimate travel agent company & won’t want to give response at all. I already informed everything to my dad about this. 

Then TLP would sent me two more emails next few weeks in the few weeks of last month May, one with summary judgment (what I saw is nothing but a fighting word) given I didn’t wanted their unsolicited advice to add pressure on me to withdraw my legal challenge against both Barclays & Travel Unravel. It is a wind up. It’s almost if they want to intimidate me by wanting to withdraw my legal case. Knowing that I have a evidence. They (Barclays’s lawyers TLP) have not provided evidence that is different to mine. They can say that I have “no legal basis” what they like, it doesn’t change anything and it doesn’t really mean that I do not have a definite proof of why I was victimised of fraud and scam. Knowingly fraud have took place & that flight ticket from Travel Unravel was never issued. No duty of care from my bank Barclays. 

One way or another, I will have my money back. 

Plus I have already posted a judgment against Travel Unravel last week (although I did posted the first one & it was missing. Never been delivered to County Court. I sent a second envelope & that it was delivered. Signed for) so I hope and pray that there should be a judgement on that matter & hopefully, I can move forward, hoping the outcome would be great and suitable. That is all I can say about this. I don’t often talk about things that happened in my personal life.

GP records should never be up for sale

Recently I was alarmed when I read the news sources about the government’s plans to gather up all GP medical records in England to be up for sale by adding on NHS Digital. 😮🚨

How on earth is the public not being consulted regarding the government’s contemptible intentions to sell off GP medical records (including mine & yours = ours) to third parties and private firms? It is shockingly unbelievable. I am not going to allow my GP medical record which is confidentially personal and private to be ever sold and harvested to third parties. No way!!! 😠

Prime Minister Boris Johnson can go to hell & other cabinet ministers. Given they (Conservatives)  are the party of privatisation. Even Jeremy Corbyn (then Labour leader) challenged him (Boris Johnson) in 2019 UK general election challenge, accusing him of plans to sell off the NHS.

Boris Johnson (Prime Minister) insisted that the NHS will not be privatised.

Selling the NHS off to US Corporations and for what? Selling GP records to private firms & third parties is the start of this? For profit!!? What a shocker!!! 

This is really NHS Data Grab. Very appalling. 

Guys, if you live in England like me, we have got until 23rd June to opt out of our GP medical records to be shared & sold. I will opt out. 

This is tech authoritarianism and that can be used & it would be open for hacking, identity theft & anything dodgy that could potentially be privacy and security problems. Even if it is anonymised because I know for one do not trust the government. 

GP records should never be up for sale. It is outrageous that the idea of selling confidential & personal information such as GP medical records for marketing purposes is allowed quietly by the government (Tories under three prime ministers since 2010) who have underfunded the National Health Service and that they would see NHS to be under privatisation. 

This is between patient and doctor at GP regarding medical information. Anything from GP appointments to health information about the person (mental health, sexual health, prescriptions, etc). Yet the Conservative govt have a screw loose & wanting to sell it. All for commercial purposes.

So guys, please do fill in opt outs (paper & online) to make sure your GP records is not to be sold to third parties & private companies. This only applies to anyone who lives in England.

Abortion is a choice

Abortion. Divisive subject that divided everyone’s opinions in all societies. 

Let me explain what is abortion. Just in case if no one knows the meaning of it or not heard of it. 

An abortion is a procedure to end a pregnancy. 

Pregnant woman who feels that she doesn’t want to have a kid due to her circumstance or being victimised of rape.

There is a lot that I want to say about it despite I don’t often talk about the topic like sensitive topic (abortion). Here is my take. 

Personally, I am against abortion but to deny the right for those who want to have abortion including in awful circumstance when woman is being victimised of rape, it is very wrong. I am pro choice. You can be pro choice & still disagree on abortion. 

How can the person be “pro life” if they are strongly against abortion but to not allow women to have the right to go to abortion clinic due to circumstances including rape. Abortion is legal. 

Why is the topic even being divisive in countries like the United States? American Conservatives (Republicans) opposes abortion & the right to have abortion. They even claim that they are Christians (& evangelicals) & that they want 1973 Supreme Court ruling Roe v. Wade to be overturned. bbc.co.uk Even in Republican states, they outlawed abortion by making it criminalised & does not include an exception of rape. Abortion ban to deprive women even if she is raped & that GOP politicians made it harder to give access to abortion clinics. That is not right. Not right morally.

There are some Christians who are pro choice despite not all of them are pro choice & it doesn’t matter what the Bible say as there aren’t clear answer about the topic. That’s where it comes into a play. Division regarding those who are pro life and those who are pro choice. Regardless of religion.

Even Northern Ireland when Northern Irish women came to Britain to have access to clinics for having the right to abort a unborn baby at the time when abortion was not legal. Coming to England from NI. google.co.uk 

Few years ago, Ireland (Republic of Ireland) voted overwhelmingly to overturn the ban on abortion 

I understand that it is an sensitive topic. However denying the right to abortion is just violation of human rights. Abortion is a choice. 

Next time when woman wants to have abortion because of her circumstances, at least respect her own decision & wishes even you might not like it. After all, abortion is legal here in the UK. Unless you happen to live in the country where abortion is illegal. 

Abortion shouldn’t really be a divisive topic at all. The reason why it is a divisive & “controversial” topic is where some people in the minority  who doesn’t approve her choice of aborting a unborn child due to her circumstances (& being victim of rape). So let’s us all just acknowledge that we live in the society where is democracy, freedom, tolerance and human rights. Without it, it would had been under the dictatorship.
