Songs of Summertime playlist
Hello Everybody
How are you doing today? I trust that you are well & that you are enjoying yourself in Bank Holiday Monday (especially if you are in the UK).
In today’s blog post, I will include the songs that are summer tunes. Plus I think I am late to the party (sorry about that) as we are in the summer time (late summer as it will be over). I wish that I could had published weeks ago or around July or in June. Anyways, it does not matter. 🎵🎶😀🙂
So here are the songs of the summer. Enjoy my summer song playlist. Whether you are eating a ice cream, going to the beach or even a festival (as you stay safe because you know, Covid measures like wearing mask, etc. Especially at the time of the writing).
1. Summer time - DJ Jazzey Jeff & the Fresh Prince.
Summer, summer, summertime. Time to sit back and unwind. Will Smith in his early days as an rapper & his time as the “Fresh Prince of Bel Air” TV show. 🎵🎶 If you have not heard this tune before, I highly recommend you go and listen to it. You’ll love it. 🍉☀️⛱🕶
2. In the Sunmertime - both versions (Mungo Jerry - Original & reggae cover by Shaggy).
“In the summertime, when the weather is hot
You can stretch right up and touch the sky”
Both versions are good. For me, I like Shaggy version of the song in the summertime.
3. Peter Andre - Mysterious Girl
Peter Andre (UK celebrity) was a singer? I know the song for very long time. The song itself is so catchy & that it has the summer melody & reggae. 😀🙂🇯🇲
4. Summertime Blues - The Who & Eddie Cochran
There are plenty of the versions of the same song. For instance, originally sung by Eddie Cochran. So for me, I chose the Who version of summertime blues. I hope you & any of my readers will not have summertime blues. 😀🙂🎵🎶🍉⛱🎸
5. Harry Styles - Watermelon Sugar
Song of the last summer. Summer of 2020 despite it was not normal summer because of the pandemic. This year’s one is normality and recovery. I bet many of you will know the song “Watermelon Sugar” by Harry Styles. Ex member of One Direction.
6. TLC - Waterfalls
90s summer tune and one of the best song. Waterfalls by TLC.
7. The Surfaris - Wipe Out
60s guitar riff and summer tune. Goes into together. The perfect song tune especially if you are going to the seaside (the beach).
8. Madonna - Holiday
”Holiday, celebrate”. One of the best Madonna songs that you can listen in the summertime.
9. Summer Breeze - Seals & Croft & The Isley Brothers (both versions).
I like both versions. The original (Seals & Croft) & cover (Isley Brothers). For me, if I were to choose, it will be the Isley Brothers version of summer breeze. Summer can really be breezy. ⛱☀️🍉
10. Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams & Nile Rodgers - Get Lucky
“We got all night to get lucky”. Daft Punk. Big hit song of the summer as it was released in 2013.
11. Calvin Harris - Summer
“When I met you in the summer”. Summery dancy dance pop hit song by Calvin Harris. Released in 2014. By now, you should had known the tune. For me, I do. 😀🙂🎵🎶🕶☀️⛱🍉
12. Dizzee Rascal - Holiday
2009 summer hit song by rapper Dizzee Rascal. Very catchy song.
13. Simple Plan featuring Sean Paul - Summer Paradise
Take me back to summer paradise. Knowing Simple Plan & Sean Paul are invited for the party. In all seriousness, this is really one of the good summer tracks. A feel good summer song. 😀🙂🎵🎶⛱🎸
14. Arrow - Hot, Hot, Hot
Feeling hot, hot, hot in the summer time? Try drink some water to stay dehydrated while enjoying listening to the tunes of summer.
15. Percy Faith - Theme from a summer place
My mother likes this song so much as she keeps playing the song over and over again. I thought that I’ll include on my list of songs of summer playlist. I even know this song for years now. 😀🙂⛱🎵☀️
16. Weezer - Islands in the Sun
”When you’re on a holiday”. First verse that starts the singing. Anyhoo, it is awesome pop rock summer song by Weezer.
17. Bryan Adams - Summer of 69
Sunmer of 69. What a tune by Bryan Adams. One of his best songs ever. Especially when there is a summer season, summer of 69 can be good.
18. Barry Manilow - Copacabana
“At the copa. Copacabana”. Copacabana would be the beach in Brazil. Anyway enjoy the song by Barry Manilow. Especially if you have not heard before. It is of the awesome hit songs from the 70s.
19. Bob Marley vs Funkstar Deluxe - Sun is shining.
Dance remix of original Bob Marley’s song “Sun is Shining. Impressive. 👏
And finally, final song on my songs of summer music playlist is track 20. 🎶⛱🍉😀🙂
20. The Ventures - Hawaii Five 0 theme
Great theme song. Especially that I am fan of Hawaii Five 0 (TV show). Ahoa from Hawaii (actually I am not in Hawaii. I wish I am in Hawaii). 😀🙂🌺⛱🍉
So that is the end of 20 summer songs selected by me to be included as music playlist on my own blog. Do you have your own summer song playlist? If yes, leave me in the comment section. Other than that, happy summer & enjoy your day (including bank holiday Monday). Perhaps next summer, I could try make another summer song playlist on my blog by updating it.
Anyways, enjoy the summer. 😀🙂⛱🍉🎶🎵🌺

Travel destinations that I would love to go part 2
Hi everybody
This is part 2 of my blog post. Travel Destinations that I would love to go.
mrlimitless95.blogspot.com Click the link to the first blog post about it. Part 1.
In my previous blog post, I added 7 countries that I would love to go. I added Nigeria, Scotland (UK), Lebanon, Australia, Canada, Italy and Egypt. Now I am including more countries that I would like to go (especially in the post pandemic world).
1. Belgium 🇧🇪🇪🇺
Belgium is one of European countries that I would definitely want to go. In fact pre Covid, I really wanted to make Belgium the next European travel destination after visiting Spain in 2018 and France in 2019. I didn’t had the chance to make it happen. 🙂😀🇧🇪
It’s easy to visit Brussels, Belgium via Eurostar if you are coming from London St Pancras station. So I could aboard the Eurostar train again. This time, going to Belgium.
2. Portugal 🇵🇹🇪🇺
Spain is close to Portugal. If you think Portugal is part of Spain, then you are mistaken & you probably never heard of the country (Portugal) before. If you do happen to know anyone who is Portuguese, my advice is don’t assume that Portuguese are Spanish just because both nations are geographically in Southern part of Europe.The Iberian Peninsula = Iberia (& I don’t mean the airline Iberia). 😀🙂🇵🇹
Anyhoo, Portugal is one of my dream travel destination. I even have the Portuguese phrasebook and travel guide books to Lisbon & Porto. Maybe in the next year or couple of years from now. Who knows.
3. Ghana 🇬🇭
Since I am Brit of Nigerian descent as I mentioned on my first blog post that I am half Nigerian I reckon that it would be much easier for me to travel to Ghana with my both passports (British & Nigerian) because like Nigeria, Ghana is an member of the ECOWAS (Economic Community of West African States). UK travellers travelling to any of West African countries (Nigeria, Ghana, etc) is visa required so I would have to be travel wise if I really do plan to visit Ghana one day. 🙂🇬🇭
4. Mexico 🇲🇽
Hola Amgios. Next country oh the list. Mexico.
Ah Mexico. The country that has mariachi bands, cool looking Mexican hats and the lovely tasty cuisine (Tacos, Doritos, aveocado, maize, beans, tomato, squash and chilli). 🇲🇽🌮 I highly recommend Mexico especially if you haven’t visited there. That includes anyone who have been to Mexico before & I would say go there again. Hopefully some day, I would love to travel to Mexico. Especially the nation is one of Spanish speaking countries & it is near to the United States of America. So yeah, if I do have a money (enough money), Mexico would be the best place to go there for gateway. 😀🙂🇲🇽
5. Ireland 🇮🇪🇪🇺
Ireland have a lot to offer to the world. Booze (& Guinness), hospitable people, Irish dancing & yes, St Patrick’s Day (held annually on 17th March) & pubs (Irish pubs). Republic of Ireland is another place that I would love to go. 🇮🇪☘️
6. China 🇨🇳
China is definitely one of must see places to visit in the world. Lots of tourist attractions & landmarks including The Great Wall of China & the Forbidden City in the Imperial place in Tiananmen Square. In the Chinese capital Beijing.
Now here’s the thing. Western sites including Google are censored & banned in China (even VPNs I can be wrong. Who knows) so when it comes to thing anything politically or any sensitive about China, be very careful & not do or say anything that can land you into trouble.
I for one would definitely go to China. Since I am very aware it is not typical country where things are restricted.
7. Jamaica 🇯🇲
Jamaica. Home to the music genre that is famous in the world: Reggae and other genres. Birthplace of famous people like Bob Marley, Sean Paul, Sean Kingston, Shaggy, Jimmy Cliff, Peter Tosh & Usain Bolt. I have always been dreaming that I wanted to go to Jamaica for very long time. Whatever I think of Jamaica, I think about the paradise, accent (Jamaican) & the reggae music sung by reggae musicians. So Jamaica, here I come (hopefully one day). 😀🙂🇯🇲🎶🎵 I hope I do not have to be Rasta to visit the beautiful country.
Anyways, that is all for now. There would be plenty of more to come soon.

Travel destinations that I would love to go
Hi Everybody
You will remember that earlier this year that I published the blog post in March. “I visited three out of BBC 50 places to visit before you die travel list”. mrlimitless95.blogspot.com In case if you haven’t read my previous blog post, click the link to read about it.
Now I feel that I want to talk more about travel. Especially that I may consider creating a my travel blog.
As the world is now already adjusting to the new reality of domestic travel & international travel due to the Covid 19 pandemic, I made the right choices not to travel anywhere aboard last year 2020 and this year 2021. But the way this is going & that Covid will be with us for long time, I guess that myself and others have to get used to PCR test (which is very expensive & that it costs money) & proving a proof of vaccination or negative Covid test by having a form of health/immunity passport (or vaccine passport/health certificate) as the world economy is already on the road to recovery. We no longer think of going away as simply booking for the flight whatever we like & that nowadays in the Covid era & potential variants, we think carefully of where to go, remaining safe & staying alert. I also firmly believe that we cannot let Covid stop us from going away for holiday/vacation purposes completely. If we do that, then what is the point of going aboard by plane, train, car, boat, etc? That would be the end of world travel as we know that & only domestic travel would remain in exist.
So that is the new reality of travelling in the world.
However I am not talking about Covid measures/restrictions. I am talking about dream travel destinations that I would love to go. Either as holidaymaker, or even a travel writer/blogger, content creator, digital nomand, etc.
Travel destinations that I would love to go are
1. Nigeria 🇳🇬
I am half Nigerian. Born to Nigerian father. Pre Covid from 2016 to 2019, myself and dad had made 6 attempts to make my visit to Nigeria come true (which it did not happen which I made a decision to give up). Nigeria is a big African country. It is not a typical “touristy” country. However it doesn’t mean the country is in war zone. Nowadays I don’t think about going to Nigeria. I hope someday, that can finally happen. But for now under the Covid pandemic, it is not the best time at this moment. 🇳🇬
2. Scotland (UK) 🏴🇬🇧
For long time since I was 12 years old, I’ve long dreamt of wanting to go to Scotland. I love the stuff about Scotland. Bagpipes, Scottish Kilt. Anything fascinating about Scotland. I know my school classroom teacher who is originally from Scotland. I think she is from either Edinburgh or Glasgow. Either way, I like the Scottish accent. 😀🙂🏴 The place I would love to go there is Edinburgh & then probably anywhere that suits me up the north.
3. Lebanon 🇱🇧
Now this is going to be a difficult one because the country is facing a very tough situation financially, economically and politically. I even talked about it on my blog post about Lebanon. 🇱🇧mrlimitless95.blogspot.com
All I can say is that unless the situation in Lebanon is improved, I do not have plans at the moment & that I do not tend to visit there anytime soon in the future. In fact, I originally wanted to go there. Then the horrific tragedy that happened in the Lebanese capital last year (4th August 2020) which led me to abandon any possible plans of making my trips to Lebanon come true. The country is beautiful and misunderstood country. I sincerely hope and pray that one day, the nation will be in much better and stable position than today.
4. Australia 🇦🇺
Australia is another travel destination that I would love to go. Plus, I have been wanting to go there for very long time. The flight duration from the UK to Australia is nearly shockingly 24 hours. Yet, some Brits visited the Land Down Under & some of them do have a family there. That explains the history between Australia and Britain. Nonetheless, Australia is definitely the place that I would love to visit.
5. Canada 🇨🇦
Another travel destinations that I want to visit is Canada. I don’t know anyone who lives in Canada except my relative (my cousin of my dad’s family) who happens to live in Toronto. That can be easy for me to explore around if i do plan to visit America’s neighbour someday. 😀🙂🇨🇦
6. Italy 🇮🇹🇪🇺
Mama Mia!!! Italy!! 😀🙂🇮🇹
Home of the Pizza & Spaghetti pasta. Rome is one of the European cities that I would want to visit. Especially in the post pandemic world (when everything is possible).
7. Egypt 🇪🇬
There is one time in my life that me, my brother & mum used a transit flight from London Heathrow to Cairo airport whilst we were heading to South Africa and returning home to England by landing in Cairo as i was flying on Egypt Air.
Speaking of transit, I love Egypt because of the history, amazing views of the pyramids & one of the popular tourist destination in Middle East & North Africa. Egypt is definitely my dream travel destination that I would want to go. 😀🇪🇬
That would be it for now. Next thing, I write a followup blog about more list of me wanting to go anywhere in the world.
Also, hopefully with the nations that I included, I hope and pray that I can visit one of them or at least 7 so that I can look back on this blog post in five, 10, 15 or 20 years from now. 😀🙂🗺🌎🌍🌏

NHS Data Grab Update: I have opted out
Hi everybody
Before I talked about today’s blog post, if you are not aware about the government’s plans (which is very awful) to sell off personal/confidential information to third parties, read my two previous posts.
The links are in the description. Thank you.
Now today’s blog post.
Last week I completed the opt out form.
I completed the forms because I know selling off confidential and personal information such as GP medical information to third parties (who are private firms) is never good.
Personal information should never be sold for marketing purposes. Never.
When it comes to data sharing, GP medical information always have been used for research about the patient & the medical history of the patient. Including the medical data that is useful for planning services.
For the government to all sudden of announce that they’ll be selling every patient’s GP medical history to the NHS Central database (NHS Digital) to be used by Palantir, there is where privacy concerns comes to play. It would be open to identity theft, data breach & hacking.
So that is why I made a decision today to drop off at my local GP to make a declaration that I strongly oppose to the NHS Data Grab. I say no to having my GP medical records to be grabbed & sold by the govt to third parties and private firms.
At least now there is couple of weeks left until the deadline is the start of next month. 1st September. The original deadline was 1st July which had been extended to the end of the month. This month August.
So if you are living in England & that you are horrified to find out that the government wants to sell your medical records to third parties and private firms for marketing purposes (not for research or anything data sharing purposes. Other than to endanger you), then I highly recommend that you download the opt out form so that you can be free by saving yourself from letting your medical information to be sold off to private firms who are third parties.

Mon expérience d'apprentissage du français (French translation)
This is French translation of my blog post based on my personal experience of learning the language. Click the link if you want English translation. mrlimitless95.blogspot.com
bonjour = bonjour
Salut = Salut
Au Revoir = Au revoir
Commentaire ca va = Comment vas-tu
Je Suis = je suis
Tre Bien = Très bien
Bon Voyage = Bon voyage
Amie = Amie
S\"il s\"agit d\"un ami masculin, il s\"appelle "Ami".
A plus tard = A plus tard
Je t\"amie = je t\"aime
Ne Me Quitte Pas = ne me quitte pas
Monsieur = Monsieur/monsieur ou monsieur.
Madame = Madame/Mademoiselle/Madame
Oui = Oui
Non = Non
Merci = Merci
Merci beaucoup = Merci beaucoup/merci beaucoup

My experience of learning French
Like Spanish, I first learn French, it was the basics and then the other words (that is not simply basic), vocabulary, pronunciation, sentence, grammar & the punctuation of the French language. Mostly, I know the basics of the French language & that I would communicate in French by saying the phrases easily. At least with Google translate & other sites & apps, it is much easier to translate into any language than just only using a phrasebook or dictionary.
In fact from my experience of learning the language. At first time, I originally didn’t really liked learning another language when I was in year 7 when myself & my fellow classmates were already started of learning French. At least gradually & suddenly, I changed my mind and to my surprise, I seen the benefits of language learning. Whether is French, Spanish, German or any language. So that is where that I didn’t see French lessons as “boring subject”.
French language is part of the romance language alongside Spanish, Portuguese, Italian and Romanian. It is in top ten of the number of total speakers as French is ranked 7. As we know, it is spoken in 29 countries. France, Canada (especially French speaking province Quebec), Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Monaco, Haiti and French speaking African countries. Even Lebanon since there are some countries that has the French speakers.
This is the basics of the French language that I know of. Basically that I know are common French phrases.
Bonjour = Hello
Salut = Hi
Au Revoir = Goodbye
Comment ca va = How Are You
Je Suis = I am
Tre Bien = Very well
Bon Voyage = Have a nice trip
Amie = Friend
If it is a male friend, it is called “Ami”.
A plus tard = See you later
Je t’amie = I love you
Ne Me Quitte Pas = do not leave me
Monsieur = Mister/mr or sir.
Madame = Madam/miss/ms
Oui = Yes
Non = No
Merci = Thank you
Merci beaucoup = Thanks a lot/thank you very much
Je Vous En Prie = You are welcome
Bon Appetit = Enjoy your meal
The list goes on. That is I can think of & all that I added was the ones that I was taught at my high school. Probably I may not recall that much of what I learned but I know it is easy for me to familiarise of what I have learned while being taught in French lessons as part of the school curriculum. 🇫🇷
At the end of the day, it is all about being fluent in any Foreign language and that is a good thing of learning languages. Whether is in school, work or hobby out of interest. I also previously wrote a blog post about it. mrlimitless95.blogspot.com Knowing the language can be easy and hard.
Lastly, I watched some of films in French.
I watched Kirikou and the Sorceress (Kirikou et la Sorciere). French animated film.
Some of them that I watched, I couldn’t remember know the names of French films that I watched whist learning the French language at secondary school.
Read my other blog post in French translation if you are interested.
